No new coronavirus cases reported in Shanghai
No new cases of coronavirus were reported in Shanghai in the last 12 hours till noon on Friday, the Shanghai Health Commission said.
Also, three patients, including one who was in a critical condition, were discharged from the hospital, while 18 suspected cases have been ruled out, the commission said.
The discharged patients include a 5-year-old boy surnamed Liu, who had traveled to other regions but not to Hubei Province. He was admitted to a hospital after developing fever and was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus pneumonia. He was later transferred to the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University for treatment.
Another patient was a 64-year-old man surnamed Wu, who had close contact with infected patients. He was confirmed with the virus on February 2. The other patient was a 65-year-old woman surnamed Ju, who also had close contact with patients diagnosed with the virus. She tested positive for the virus on February 20 after visiting a hospital with symptoms of fever and cough.

Pet dog tests 'weak positive' for novel coronavirus
A spokesperson for Hong Kong's Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) said Friday that a pet dog had been tested "weak positive" for the novel coronavirus.
The dog's nasal and oral cavity samples were tested and it did not have any symptoms so far, the spokesperson said.
